The Schloss model R40 Chronograph will be retired at the end of 2009.
A new series of models currently are in design/production and will debut on or about February 2010. These new models will feature larger cases, potentially up to 54mm and a selection of quartz and/or automatic movements.
Still 100% Swiss? Of course!
So, if you’re considering the purchase of an R40, now is the TIME.

2009: Time is Important
January 22nd, 2009
It seems that every day, the headlines are filled with bad news and more impending doom. At Schloss Watches, we disagree. In fact, we feel that the best is yet to come.
However, while we wait and work toward a better, more secure future, it is important to remember those things that truly are important.
Accordingly, we encourage everyone to savor a fine meal, drink a great glass of wine (or two), and seek enjoyment in the companionship of family and friends. Enjoy the finer things in life, but remember that there is nothing finer than a great view or a sunset.
As well, remember that quality, value and mechanical excellence, such as you find in a Schloss R40 Automatic Chronograph, never go out of style.
This is a view from a balcony at a friend’s home in Tuscany, Italy. It is spectacular and a free gift that we are delighted to share with you.
Ciao!
